mary used to enter all the races, but now she's gave up running.
he attempted to experiment several times but he gave up after three hours in the lab.
is B playing both soccer and tennis for the school?
he was, but now he's gave up playing tennis.
doctor C has worked on the project too long to give up.
i've been running a mile every afternoon for the past month.
but i still havenot been able to lose more than a pound too.
i wonder if it's worth it.
