跌跌撞撞地走过多灾多难的2008。除旧迎新之际，突然觉得，这两首老掉牙的歌，正是我需要听到的。CD一时找不到，还好，youtube上都有，其中一首还有Frank Sinatra和猫王录的两个版本。歌声缭绕，不知不觉，午夜都已经过了。

有人说等待是一门艺术，我偏要说等待首先是一门课程。幸运的人可以免修，大多数人可能要“选修”。也有抽到作“必修”的。不走运不单止，还可能会挨人家的白眼：这小子，肯定是基础课没学好。

‘记载美国’（Recording America: NPR Storycorps）是开车上班时最喜欢听的广播节目之一。每次一个故事或一段经历，采访的对象是生活在美国各个地方的普通人。
今天来的是一位叫安琪的女子。安琪和未婚夫凯任教于纽约州的同一所中学里。“2006年刚开始的约会都是很多人很多电灯泡在一块儿。”安琪笑着形容：“我想有好长一段时间他没有勇气单独和我约会吧。”
没有单独约会勇气的凯却是一位抗癌斗士。2004年被发现患有一种叫尤文氏肉瘤的罕见的癌症，凯一直选择坚强面对，积极治疗。他的病也没有成为两个人走到一起的绊脚石。
